Terms of Service
1. The service
Wenk provides a daily content brief and AI-assisted post drafting tool, primarily for LinkedIn. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for any activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscription and billing
Wenk is offered on monthly (R199) and annual (R1,990) subscriptions through Paystack. A 3-day free trial is included on first sign-up. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel any time from your billing page — access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Wenk to:
- Generate defamatory, fraudulent, or unlawful content
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your professional credentials
- Generate content that violates any third party's intellectual property rights
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service
- Resell access to your account or share login credentials
5. AI-generated content
Wenk uses third-party AI models to draft suggestions for you. These drafts are suggestions only. You are responsible for everything you publish. AI drafts can contain factual errors and you should verify any claim of fact, statistic, or attribution before posting. In particular, regulated industries (finance, legal, medical) should treat all output as a starting point only and ensure compliance with applicable rules.
6. Ownership of content
You own the posts and drafts you create. We claim no ownership of your output. You grant us a limited licence to store and display your content solely to operate the service for you.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Briefs depend on third-party APIs (news search, AI providers, email delivery) and may occasionally fail. Where a brief fails to send, we will not refund a portion of your subscription, but we will work to restore service as quickly as possible.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wenk's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to the service. You may terminate your account at any time from your settings page.
10. Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved in the South African courts.
